holy gas never has a game surprised me so much. leshys inscryption - peak, maybe my favourite. original inscryption- pretty basic, weird, but really cool. P03's inscryption - i hate that guy but it was really fun grimora's inscryption would have been so fun. sad it didnt get much time. KILL magnificus. crazy lore in the arg, but a good surface level is told through the game itself, which makes it very accessible. KILL magnificus. genuine masterpiece

I’m certainly a sucker for card games so this review is without a doubt biased. I enjoyed Inscryption, it’s a very unique premise in which did implore me to continue. Although Act 3 was definitely sub par by comparison to the first two, especially in that of gameplay. The endgame content is certainly some of, if not the best I’ve ever seen within gaming and it’s what places this game ever so highly. The story does have nice ARG elements that help to carry it along but I never felt a connection to it, rather I just watched the provided content and moved forward without so much as a second thought. That being said the art direction and style is incredibly unique and it orchestrates the perfect environment for a game such as this! Definitely recommend to any who enjoy card-based games or rougelites
