Such a beautiful game, 100% better than Gris

I finished Neva in one go, which I believe is the way to go. Took me about 4 hours and I loved every second of it. Neva is a stunning game in every way. In the obvious way, with the art and environments that continuously took my breath away, but also it's story which really resonated with me and had me teary eyed at several moments. I also really want to mention and give the gameplay so much appreciation. I was pleasantly surprised by how inspiring the different mechanics and gameplay sections were. I played Gris a few years ago, a game that also spoke to me emotionally but the gameplay isn't that deep and the mechanics aren't that many. It's fine when this is the case, but besides being really invested in the game thanks to the story I also really wanted to see what new mechanic the new sections would bring. A personal favorite was the mirror section. Thoroughly enjoyed the puzzles on that one. All in all, as I've said, such a stunning game in every single way possible. The story, especially the feelings I got from it, will stay with me for a long time. Now, was I especially emotionally attached to this story because Neva reminds me of my own dog? Very possibly. Still a 5/5. Bought The Prologue right away and cannot wait to jump in.
