South of Midnight

Visualmente hermoso. No necesita mucha complejididad, ni en cuanto historia ni dificultad.

Pues me ha parecido un juego chulísimo. En un mundo donde los gamers ™ solo quieren juegos de parrys, jefes imposibles, mundos abiertos con misiones de recadero... Se agradece una propuesta así: una aventura divertida, con un lore rico, con platafarmeo de toda la vida... Es cierto que el combate es básico y repetitivo, pero como el combate no es una constante en el juego sino que va por arenas, pues tampoco me ha molestado. Aplaudo estas propuestas clásicas que aunque no inventan la rueda te hacen pasar muy buen rato.

De los apartados artisticos mas bonitos que he visto en la industria, pero que a nivel jugable se queda a medio camino como un juego simplon pero que sigue siendo divertido y disfrutable.

I thought South of Midnight was a beautiful exploration of grief and what it does to people, and I looooove everything about the music. The general sound of it, how they implement it, making it such a huge part of the story. That, together with the art style made this such a unique game. The combat was... There. I turned down the difficulty and just kind of got through it. I did, however, really like the platforming! When I got into the flow of it I thought it was super fun and satisfying. I also enjoyed the small parts with Crouton. They were a nice change of pace. All in all I really enjoyed the game and hope people take the time to play it. It's certainly one I will remember.
