Persona 4 Golden

It’s just so peak! Persona 4 Golden is one of the only games where the cast felt like a genuine group of friends to me. I played this game during a point of my life where I barely had any friends and was also struggling with severe social anxiety, so it hit hard to me. The story about a murder mystery in a small town calls for an unexpectedly cosy game. It’s the kind of game you’d play for an hour before you sleep, to unwind with. The gameplay loop is unique, with a social simulator and a battle in another world, and I am yet to find another game which is not in the Persona series with the same gameplay loop. If you know of any games, please let me know! The soundtrack is another masterpiece, and my personal favourite of the series. When listening to thensongs knowing the context behind them, it makes listening to the soundtrack much more enjoyable. Persona 4 Golden, although being a PS Vita game, still lives up to today’s hype, and I am glad to call it my favourite game of all time.
