Life is Strange: Double Exposure

I hate to rate my favorite franchise AND my favorite girl so low bc I love Max more than anything but pls this was almost a remake of the first and we alr got a remastered version of that so......this is by far the worst game in the series, it feels empty by comparison to any of the other games except maybe True Colors which still was more full than this game, while I won't go as far as to say that this isn't LIS canon like some ppl it's definitely a disappointment after all the hype of playing as Max again, especially since she is the only recalled character, in LIS you get to interact with David depending on if you picked bae or bay and that was a wonderful way to bring him back to finish his storyline but only seeing joyce on your phone and never hearing from Warren or Chloe and Victoria, only having these vague references in random bits of informational text feels like they were written for a fan fiction and I would have absolutely loved to have max interact with SOMEONE from her past at least once bc whats the point in bringing back and making a whole new game for a beloved character if they barely actually go back and think on their past and how it's affecting their future ESPECIALLY with a girl who used to be able to rewind time and can now jump timelines?!? It just fell flat for me by comparison to the other games in the franchise.
