So…since I started playing videogames I’ve always loved the stealth genre. I don’t know but the idea of slowly stalking your targets from the shadows was more interesting than regular guns-blazing approach for me. The feeling of complex strategizing (backed by millions of save loads) is just amazing. Add a shit ton of magic and a masterful level design and you have dishonored. Arkane studios will always be the king of level design and fuck it even art design. The milions of options to take out your enemies makes the replayability almost infinite(your only limitation is your imagination). Sneaking through an plague infested Dunwall is just something that cannot be recreated again. Makes me feel more sad that we’ll probably never see a new Arkane game ever again.

Batshit crazy nazi shooting classic. What’s not to like? Right? Right?

Probably one of the best descision-making videogames. Not my personal favorite because the themes of heavy rain are more up my alley, but overall absolutely beautiful and polished experience that explores the themes of slavery and what it means to be a human. Also the soundtrack is just a work of art.
