Whilst losing a star for its performance issues, graphical design and frame drops (which are fixed with the 60fps switch 2 update), Pokemon Scarlet is a game where I truly enjoyed every hour. The story is engaging, the new pokemon designs are fun, and shiny hunting is a joy.

May be biased as this is my first ever pokemon game, but the vibes of alola have never been beat in my opinion. The soundtrack, the pokemon designs, and the incredible story, which goes much deeper than some of the recent installments. Would definetly recommend to new pokemon fans

Played recently after the release of silksong to understand the hype, and it is truly an experience like no other. The world building, the emotion you see through a presumably "hollow" character and a difficulty that can make any player struggle on their first playthrough. The exploration is rewarded because of the incredible artwork, and this is truly a game I would replay just for fun. 5/5

This game is genuinely perfection. The storytelling, the characterisation, the artwork. Truly the successor to Undertale
