If you loved the first game you’ll love this one, and maybe still be annoyed by certain features such as myself. The controls are abysmal on keyboard and mouse which should not be the case, it leads to a plethora of glitches and reasoning behind a fair amount of my deaths. That aside the exploration factors is wonderful and there is a vast amount of content if you want to just stim out and find your perfect build. DLC in bound!

This was a fucking blast and a challenge throughout. Very fun boss fights but nothing too involved, wish the final fight had a bit more variety though it felt too samey for a final boss. Cool story and references out the ass, but the pacing was way too break neck at times. Didn’t think the hand holding was nearly as extensive as reviews made it out to be, it’s a very simple mechanic that’s purely to portray his senses, you hit right stick at any point and the game tells you where to go anyways. Don’t see the difference as opposed to any other game like this. Only thing that was annoying in that regard was tutorial pop ups for shit I’ve done already, especially if I respawned and had to do the same thing again. All I all a really fun and cinematic experience that’s great for a superhero fan.

There’s a lot to love here. The pacing is break neck but in a good way, tho the prologue is excessive. I like how it handles so many villains but some should’ve stayed longer. My biggest gripe was the amount of glitches I encountered the game did not feel polished even a few months later so that was disappointing. Overall a great Batman experience and a FUCK TON of side content.

Fuck this game felt like such a chore to get through but I can’t deny how great it is particularly for the time. Every single one of these games pushes the boundaries for what games can be. I appreciate the lack of backtracking in this compared to 2, but it made me appreciate 2 more just for the story and atmosphere. I couldn’t get into the vibe of this game so I felt like I was dragging myself through it. I wish there was more story throughout and not just all added on at the end. ALSO I replicate that they wanted to stay true to the original gameplay wise, but if you’re gonna make the graphics look new there’s shit in the gameplay that just feels so fucking old they could’ve at least done some improvements to certain set pieces so they didn’t feel so stiff the feel just did not match the visuals at all. Which makes you wonder if they should’ve just done a remaster instead of a 1:1 remake.
