a great experience to play through if you’re a fan of the series or the comics, but if you’re looking for story, you won’t find much here, with the campaign being around an hour long. the combat is fun, but can be confusing to first-time players. i’d only get it if you’re a fan of [TITLE CARD] AND fighting games, it’s nothing too unique in terms of gameplay, but the character interactions and animation (especially the ultimates) are great. i dream of an open-world invincible game, but until then this is the best we got, and i like it!

the greatest spider-man experience out there. insomniac have really hit their stride when it comes to these games and have proven themselves to be able to build on their already great foundations with the first game to create a game where you can immerse yourself fully. worth a couple playthroughs in my opinion

great combat and a genuine masterpiece in game design, it’s earned it’s spot in history. despite it’s dated graphics the game still looks great thanks to the artstyle being so coherent throughout, and is mindblowing for what was achievable for 2004. a must-play for any new PC gamer.

it takes a grip on you. be warned, this game is a curse. once you start, you can never stop. sure you may take breaks, maybe a few weeks, hell maybe even a couple months. but you’ll always be drawn back in.
