Metal Gear Solid Delta: Snake Eater

Fuck this game felt like such a chore to get through but I can’t deny how great it is particularly for the time. Every single one of these games pushes the boundaries for what games can be. I appreciate the lack of backtracking in this compared to 2, but it made me appreciate 2 more just for the story and atmosphere. I couldn’t get into the vibe of this game so I felt like I was dragging myself through it. I wish there was more story throughout and not just all added on at the end. ALSO I replicate that they wanted to stay true to the original gameplay wise, but if you’re gonna make the graphics look new there’s shit in the gameplay that just feels so fucking old they could’ve at least done some improvements to certain set pieces so they didn’t feel so stiff the feel just did not match the visuals at all. Which makes you wonder if they should’ve just done a remaster instead of a 1:1 remake.
